Yes yes yes. Don’t let cash disappear. How will children learn maths and money if they can’t experience it? I use cash to buy the Big Issue and potter in charity shops – yes I know lots of them take cards now. Our greengrocers was pure cash until Covid and home deliveries brought them into the 21st century – they still only accept cards for amounts over £5 so if you only want one orange or a banana…
Rarely. Here in the Netherlands, even market stall owners usually accept debit card payments and I haven’t been in a store that doesn’t accept debit cards in many years (well, not in this country at least, Germany though…).
Normally I would say “nope, never”, but I know that right now I have £20 that I withdrew from the cash machine to donate to the charity our company work with. They are doing a fundraiser at work this week.
Yeah. I suppose one of these days it will become plastic, plastic and plastic all the time, but I am fascinated by old coins and it never hurts to have a spare $20 tucked away just in case.
Yes, because its always good to have cash in case of emergencies

I usually have about 20 bucks in my wallet “just in case,” but I rarely have to use cash anymore.

Not really. I use my Debit and EBT Cards for most purchases.

Always. Some places won’t take credit cards, and some that do take them slap on a surcharge. And I hate writing checks.
