  1. I USED to be somewhere in the middle, I wasn’t the first one finished, but I was never last either. Now? Since I don’t know exactly what will be welcome in my system, I have to choose very carefully and I do eat a LOT slower in the hope that it won’t trigger an upset stomach.

    1. Oh, I SO understand you… I’ve always been on the slow-eating side, but ever since I got bariatric surgery, I have to eat even slower. Sugar and grease are my two most dangerous enemies. And very generous plates block my eating ability instantly. To say the least, I’m not fun to eat with. Eating is a looooong process for me now 😛

      1. “They” (people who are supposed to know such stuff) say that eating slowly is better for overall digestion. You were very brave to have that surgery IMO, because at one time I thought about it. Then I was shown one or two videos by the psychologist who worked with the team that did the surgery. Those videos were unvarnished and scared the tar out of me. I think that’s when I embraced my fat person and over time that person has melted away. But it took a lot of time and losing immense stress for me to lose that excess weight. You have courage and doing that is very admirable. Good for you! 😀

    1. I think that a lot of people would say the same. Having dealt with weight issues for decades, I would recommend that you eat with friends more often. 😛 The slower you eat, the less you eat, in general 😉

    1. Likewise 🙂 You’re bringing a very important point, a lot of companies are imposing ridiculisly short amount of time to eat… I can’t imagine ingesting my lunch in such a short amount of time.
