It depends on how you define successful. For some yes you would need ambitions for others they seem to come by success without any ambition at all. They just have an innate talent for it.
The two are not connected in my thoughts. You must be ambitious at something to make it work how you think it needs to be done. Success is a term used by man to gage completion of a task or job. You can successfully complete a task and it be an utter failure according to mans terms.
My definition of success relates to how many people you have touched with love…thriving in love – feeling loved by others and having a heart overflowing with love – that to me is success. It is something that means no matter what your income, circumstances, possessions etc – your life has abundant purpose and meaning.
Ambition in a secular sense often limits the amount of time and energy you have for those who are closest to you. Sacrificing time with those you love for the sake of money or prominence is a waste that some come to regret bitterly.
No, not always, but it makes the probability much higher! Plus, successful is really a subjective evaluation to each individual, isn’t it!! Happiness, Love count don’t they?
Not always, but some people just have better timing than others. Success is pretty subjective though, so I guess it depends on what you want out of life!
That depends on what you consider “being successful”
