I was invited (well, not personally, but still…) to join the Fandango’s Friday Flashback!
Fandango scrolls back, every Friday, and gives a second chance to a post he had published on the same date, years before. I thought it was a great way to remember some of the stuff I did a while back, and I decided to participate…
So here it is!
Written on March 4th of 2020, here is a little piece of romantic poetry. I hope you’ll enjoy it (again), and I wish you’re safe and well, wherever you are…
.
Limerence,
Just a word…
The soothing presence
Of another…
Oh sweet solace
Some call obsession
My happy place
Where love is legion,
And no one needs
To know, no!
Even you can think
It isn’t so, so…
Shush Darlin’
And let me kiss
Your invisible lips.
Shush Handsome
And let me feel
Your arm around my hips.
I shall lie here
Long lingering to
The last memory-thread
Of your voice!
Oh limerence,
My oasis, my heaven
Lost in you,
I simply rejoice…
