I seem to have lost some memories. After I was attacked, I seemed to have very clear memories of my childhood, but not much from my twenties. I still find my memories very vague. Sometimes, I will be dreaming at night and I am not sure if what is going through my mind might be a real memory. It can be frustrating at times.
But I have a very high value on short term memories – it would be hard to do much without it – work tasks, household tasks, financial tasks….all sorts that makes short term memories very helpful.
I think long term memory would be best, right? Because all the things that we forget in our short term memory would become long term memories we could then remember? LOL
Ouf… Too hard to choose 🥺 Gun to my head, I think I’d say short terms

I am not able to make this choice. Both are so valuable to me.

How long term are we talking about? If I could let go of my childhood, I’d be good with that.
