I just wanted to try this one last time…
Two weeks ago, I published a post offering three tickets for a concert taking place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, on Septembert 4th. And so far, I’ve had no luck.
I just want to be clear… I am not selling said tickets, I’m offering them for free!
There’s no small characters catch. I just can’t attend the show (for obvious reasons) and I’d really like for others to enjoy our places. I am not asking for anything in return, I just want you to enjoy a free evening of great music.
I get that you might not know the Danish band Mew, but you can check some of their songs in the link above, and I am sure that it wouldn’t be a disappointing discovery.
So if you live in the UK, and would like to do something fun for free on Saturday, just let me know in the comments, or by leaving me a note at cyranny@gmail.com. If you don’t live in UK, but have friends that could be interested, please pass the information forward.
I really hope to find someone… It would be a shame to leave these seats empty, when we’ve been looking forward to this show for years.

So sorry. Lacking a passport (have yet to fill out me form) and obscene amount of $ for plane fare (have yet to win a major lottery) I’m plum stuck for a while)

Mouahahahahaha, and I don’t blame you, Larry 😉 My passport would be ready for the trip, but we don’t feel like going to the UK is a very clever idea, for now.

And that’s very understandable… I don’t know exactly how bad things are in UK right now, but if the show was taking place here, in Montréal, I would attend it. I am guessing that since the show is still scheduled for Saturday, some people in the London area might be interested too… Time will tell 🙂

I have not seen this before. I have to work on Saturday, but if you like I can ask some friends if they are free on Saturday. What would they need though? Are the tickets to be collected from the box office? Or can they be emailed over?
I will check what kind of music Mew play so I know who to mention it to. Some of our friends are still very nervous about going to crowded events, but I know others who have been to festivals over the past few weeks.

We have sent a few texts and emails out. We have had some replies already from friends who say they already have plans for the weekend. Shall I make a post as well? I am sure there are some London bloggers who might be interested.
