To try and prevent people from doing bad things. If I could read their minds before they act upon committing a crime, for example, then I could try and stop them 💚
First. that ability would freak me out. I don’t want to know what someone else is thinking. Not EVER. But perhaps the ability could be put to good use in financial situations, like the winning lottery numbers (Utah doesn’t have a lottery, but Idaho, Nevada, and Wyoming do from what I hear). Or knowing who would be good for a touch (touch being borrowing a small amount of money knowing it won’t be paid back.) Yeah. I’d abuse the ability obviously. Good thing I can’t read minds! 😉
That is a good question. I guess you would be a great communicator as you would totally get what people are saying even if they didn’t have the words. I could see a future in police work! Lol!
I have to be honest and say I would rather not read minds. I have known two people who have that ability and both have told me it is very disconcerting.

I would use this gift to finally understand how women think. I’m a guy, so of course, I’m clueless when it comes to these kinds of things.

I’d rather not use it. It’s better to not know what everyone is thinking.
