Anything by the Beatles, Rick Nelson, Roy Orberson, or a do-whop sound. I heard the Beatles and Orberson every day driving to/from school. Always liked Ricky Nelson’s voice – smooth, mellow and easy to sing with. I can carry a tune. 😁
I never thought we’d have that in common, but Roy Orbison was also a big part of my teenage years’ musical background. Dad listened to a lot of music, and he introduced me to Roy Orbison at a young age. He had such a unique voice… *Sigh*
