I do like that, although I got woken up this morning at 7am, got up and realised that I could have had a lie in because my partner was already up, I just hadnt noticed
It’s the same for me too when I travel even though I consider myself an early riser. I think it’s the excitement and adrenaline that makes us feel awake when we travel. I experienced Golden hour once and will never forget it.
It varies. Sometimes I’ll arise early (5:30 am or so), open my blinds that face south (but I can see East as well a little bit), turn on my fire, and watch the sun come up. It’s very relaxing. Other times it’s dusk (especially in summer) when things cool down, I can open my patio door and pull the screen across and breathe in the air of the summer day and watch dusk creep across the lawn. That’s cozy. But mostly? Just before I settle in for the night. The day is done with whatever foibles crept in, and hopefully sleep beckons. They’re all great!
It varies for me too… When at home, and in my normal routine, I’m more of a night owl, and I enjoy the late evening hours. But when I’m on vacation, especially far away from home, I am up first thing in the morning, and I like to hunt the best place to watch the sun rise 😉
4 am?? Wow… On vacation, I can do 4 am, but on my working schedule, it is just pure torture 😉 But you are right, it is such a peaceful time of the day 🙂
Sunday morning and I could sleep in. Instead I was up and making coffee at 5:05. That though was in part due to a certain Lucky finding herself locked in with two stinky boys and desperate to leave said room. She now is sleeping peacefully and I am reading news and emails. Checking in with all the blogs. Have a wonderful Sunday Cranny. 🤓🤗☕💜
Late morning when I have arisen from my early morning blahs and done some moving around to get all the working parts working and I can celebrate that I am still alive and well and lucky to be so.
Late morning usually means me being at my desk providing technical support over the phone… So I don’t enjoy it as much as you do, for the moment. But I have a feeling that things might change, when I retire (sometime, in many many many years LOL)
I love the night’s quietness… I guess that’s why I’ve always been a night owl. Nothing bad can happen during the night (well… Of course there are exceptions, but they’re just that, exceptions), and I love that. Quietness, stillness and calmness… Win-win!
At the moment, work is intense – so right now. I have to admit, the best time of day is when I slip into bed and snuggle up under the covers. The problem is that that happy feeling does not last long. Within seconds I am fast asleep and before I know it my alarm is going off!!!
Friday 11pm. Its very specific I know

This IS very precise 😉 It’s one of my favorite times too! With Saturday at 7am… When I wake up, realize that it’s Saturday, and I can stay in bed! 😛

I’m a morning person, so dawn, specifically the golden hour is my favorite time of day.

I am a night owl, but for some reason, when I travel, I am up before the sun, and I agree that the golden hour is just magical 🙂

Yeah, I guess that when we travel, we are more aware that there is no time to waste 😉

Same here, Sadje 🙂 When I can sit back, relax and put the day behind me, all is good 🙂

First thing in the morning. Like 4/5 a.m. It is quiet and I have time to slowly move into the day and all the things I need to do. 🙂

Early morning when nothing hurts, aches, itches or bothers, laying warm in my bed…before I have to get up😅

Mouahahahahahaha, yeah, I can understand that. I’m glad I don’t have to worry about morning aches just yet. *Knocking on wood*

That’s a sweet moment, I totally agree. But being the type of person that falls asleep incredibly fast, I don’t get to enjoy it as much as I’d like 😉
