Everywhere – mostly from football. The biggest being from when somebody ruptured my spleen and the doctors dug it out and threw it in the rubbish a few hours later. A big one on my back too. Heaps of small ones generally the result of stupidity of one sort or another. People assure me that none of these scars have rendered me any uglier, however. How should I interpret that?
My whole person is a scar to some degree, in truth.

On the back on my right ankle where I had surgery to repair a torn Achilles’ tendon.

Over my right thigh, where I had a total hip replacement many years back. You kinda have to look to see it, but I can FEEL it…

Hip to hip—had to have an abdominal panel repair. Luckily it can be hidden by a swimsuit bottom etc.!
