Did you naturally learn your left and right, or did you use a trick, as a child? If you used a trick, what was it?

  1. I’m as right handed as they come. I suppose it was just natural. One of my twins is a lefty, and we did nothing the encourage or dissuade. It’s one of those it is what it is things. πŸ˜ƒ

  2. I still struggle with Left and Right.
When giving directions I have to point “over there”.
I had a misunderstanding with my Dad when I was a little on and learning to use cutlery. I asked my Dadda which hand I was supposed to hold my knife and fork with. Dad showed me. I was sat opposite him and I mirrored how he held his. So for years I trained my left hand to use a knife and my right the fork. I am right handed. It’s a habit I have never been able to break off and I am constantly told off at dinner parties about it.

    1. Hehehehe that’s a cute story, Caramel! I had trouble all my life… As a child I sucked my thumb, and I had a bump on the left one. I used that for years… When the bump disappeared, I had to find something else, now I think about the fact that drivers sit on the left side here πŸ˜›
