Bob Seger’s “Roll Me Away”, the whole Gordon Lightfoot album “Gordon’s Gold Vol 1”, and a Jim Croce album which involved traveling, which was on cassette, which is now unusable, and which I can’t find. I don’t remember the title, but I do remember drives to Southern Utah (300+ miles) listening to those albums, plus a boat load of Seger. Good times!
When I was younger, I loved listening to John Denver, Glen Cambell, and Beatles. For some reason, it always lightened the mood of a long drive when I was a kid.
Now, and for a long time, I love listening to The Eagles, Kansas, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Dodi, and, well… Anything that I can sing along to. LOL! 😊
There’s this song whose name I had to google up coz I remembered the lyrics but not the name… Okay so it’s called ‘Aao milo chalein’ from the movie Jab We Met (When we met)… it’s talks about how journeys are so much better than the destination. We don’t know where we are headed to but we should keep moving to reduce the distance because we can’t reach our destination if we sit at one place.
The whole Save Me San Francisco album by Train!
