What we believe in is very personal.
I have my own beliefs, which I rarely share. Because some people are quick to judge, and closed minded people can be hurtful. And I don’t need judgement, nor to be hurt.
The holiday season is filled with magic. It is the time of year we are all allowed to hope for the unlikely to happen. Most children hope for the perfect Christmas gift. But I think that as we grow older, we start hoping for deeper things.
I know it is my case.
What about you? What do you wish the holiday season would change in your life?
The holiday season no longer holds much magic for me. As I get older, I think more about who may not be present next Christmas and those thoughts make me sad. I just try to slow the rush down and enjoy being in the present with family and friends.
