When referring to Carnivals, people will usually think about Venice in Italy, Mardi Gras, in Louisiana, or Rio de Janeiro in Brazil…
But in May, every spring, Denmark holds what is said to be the biggest carnival in Northern Europe. This year, Aalborg (Denmark’s fourth largest city) was holding its 25th carnival, and I was lucky enough to watch the big parade two years ago!
Oh, come on! Don’t tell me you didn’t expect me to manage to squeeze Denmark in a carnival post!! Mouahahahaha
