Cyranny’s Jukebox…

Hey, you didn’t think I’d leave you alone with Danish music, did you?

Medina is one of my favorite Danish singers, thanks to Pippa. “Elsk mig” means “Love me”, and I think there something just eerie about this video clip that you might enjoy even if you don’t speak the language.

Could you please love me – just a little longer
Here, here I would lay in your arms
Oh, we loved each other
I thought it was for ever
I never wanted anyone else
But I never sensed that you wandered off away from me
Could you please love me – just a little longer
I slowly fall apart and it hurts
So if I ask of you
If I promise not to complain
If I never talk back to you
If I back you up every day
You will feel I am good
If I do anything I can for you
I’ll give you what I have
Let me get the stars for you
Tell me could you then love me – still
Could you please love me – just a little longer
Was, was it because you met someone else
Or am I just not right for you
I felt like we had plans about life on earth together
I don’t know what’s wrong
But you’re fading away while my life turns to black
Was that all?
Could you please love me – just a little longer
Cause I slowly fall apart and it hurts
So if I ask of you
If I promise not to complain
If I never talk back to you
If I back you up every day
You will feel I am good
If I do anything I can for you
I’ll give you what I have
Let me get the stars for you
Tell me could you then love me
Just a little longer
Cause I slowly fall apart and it hurts
So if I ask of you
If I promise not to complain
If I never talk back to you
If I back you up every day
You will feel I am good
If I do anything I can for you
I’ll give you what I have
Let my get the stars for you
Tell me could you then love me – still
Just a little longer
A little longer
I hope you’ll enjoy as much as I do.
