Tiny shadow caster,
You gave your tree a voice
The wind made you sing
And all of us rejoiced
Summer flowed through your veins
But summer is now gone
Turning the green foliage
to many warmer tones
At last there was no choice,
Came time to take a leap
You dove bravely one day
Here you are at my feet
We’ll miss you dearly
Fear not, my leafy friend
Just make sure to grow back
When spring waltzes in again!
This week, I dedicate my (almost) daily pictures to the subject of patterns, in the honor of Kate, who kindly participated in the creation and débuts of the Word of the Day Challenge … Thank you Kate, for your time and dedication during these three months, and all the best with your new projects! Muuah!
You can still follow Kate’s inspirational posts on her personal blogs Aroused and Meet the Bloggers (I did an interview with Kate… Just saying, hehehe)

Photosynthesis. What a hoot
Transferring sunshine to my root
Pursuit of life, my sole belief
The humble goal of a humble leaf.
