I am a hopeless romantic. I’ve considered therapy, but I kind of like it too much to change.
When I saw today’s Word of the Day, “Sensitivity”, the first thing that came to my mind was a song. Jann Arden is a Canadian singer I really like, and I think all fellow-romantics out there will agree that this tune is sure to strum your heartstrings any time it plays.
I could go on, and tell of sad moments in my life, when this hit home. But we all loved and got dumped. And my stories are no different than the ones you could tell me…
Sometimes, you just need to cuddle up in a blanket, remember, and weep for a while. And the following song is just the perfect soundtrack for that kind of moments…

I grew up listening to Anne Murray. She was Canada’s songbird before Celine, Shania or anyone else.

She is my mom’s favorite singer, and I also grew up listening to her (Anne… and my mom, come to think about it :P) Anne’s voice is like smelling a sweater my mother would have worn a thousand times. It is so comforting.
