That tingly feeling…

Oh, that feeling… You know it, right? The butterflies in the stomach feeling most of us long for. *sigh* That’s priceless.

I like the image of common sense leaving you when you are in the presence of that special someone. I can’t say I have the most effective common sense to begin with, but I do lose it completely when the butterflies hit.

The foolish things I have done for butterflies.

I got into an improvisation league, although I am absolutely scared of being on a stage… I wrote poems and presented them in a bar that had poetry nights (again, I have stage fright) Β I travelled thousands of miles, many times… Made my parents’ phone bill go through the roof… I’ve done better (or worse, depending on your point of view) because of the buterflies, and I love when it happens.

The butterflies giveΒ meΒ wings.

What about you? Have the butterflies made you do anything you wouldn’t have done otherwise?

      1. Well they do say blonds have more fun. I personally prefer dark-hair.

And remember the saying “you can sleep with a blonde, you can sleep with a brunette. But you never get any sleep with a redhead” 😜
        Just a thought

      2. Hahahahah that could be a factor 😜 or the ooohhs and aaaahhs could be for another reason 😈

But back to the original question it depends on your colouring. Would need to see a picture to tell you if you’d suit blonde or not

      3. I was just joking, picked a random question to have an opinion… I actually know that I can’t do that… I look like a freak any shade lighter than my natural dark brown. I can have highlights, but I am not girly enough to go through the trouble…

Once a year or two, I’ll dye my hair pitch black, which I really like, but that’s about it….

And this is probably the most boring subject I’ve picked in a long long time…. Sorry!! LOOOL

  1. Wages have been waged (and battles lost) for want of the butterflies embrace. Carefully laid plans abandoned at the foot of the fleeing butterfly. These magical, almost mythical fairies give life to our wildest fantasies with their mere presence.
Here’s to a life filled with the bounty only butterflies can bring.

      1. hehehe this was one of those moments I wished the jack ‘n Coke were out of arms reach before I hit the send button πŸ˜‰

Pretty cheesy, but your post prompted it-so you get half the blame πŸ˜‰
But still… I gotta remember the bloggers golden rule: Don’t drink and comment!

      2. I would disagree… If that might come as cheesy to some men, I am sure the Ladies will say like me! Maybe all this world needs is a little more “cheesy” πŸ˜‰
