Around him, she always tried to keep her cool. To present herself with elegance, tilting the head just a little to catch his gaze. Oh how she wished he only had eyes for her… And though discreetly, she tried to make herself noticed everytime he looked her way… What he couldn’t see, was how, under the surface, her feet paddled hard to keep up with him… Holding a steady, gracious pace, just like a swan…
But then again… They were, swans…
