Laugh and get rich day!

What? There is an obvious fail here. Laugh and get rich? Is it implying that I will get rich out of laughing? I doubt it. Unless I have a very special laughter. And it becomes very popular among the guys seeking laughters for background-fake-laughing-recordings. And then play in all the American sitcoms, and then go International, and be the laughter everyone needs…

But “Laugh and get rich day” seems to promise a more instant wealth coming straight from my ability to laugh. And I’ve been thinking about it… Nope, I can’t see any way to get rich in a short term deal just by my laughter… And I laugh well, you know? I have a dang of a laugh… Feminine, soft, not aggressive to the ear… A communicative laugh that everybody follows if I get the giggles… Don’t you wish you heard me giggling just now?? No? You’re in denial, and you know it… You are probably already writing something silly to get the giggles out of me!

But rewarded with tons of cash giggles…? I will believe it when I see it.

“Get rich and laugh day” I would have understood… If I get the first part done, I’m pretty sure the second will come by reflex. Maybe not at first though. I might cry first. Tears of joy, but in no way comparable to laughter or giggles.

Yeah, “Laugh and get rich day” doesn’t make much sense… But maybe the author of the title was just in a rush and made a big typo. Maybe he (or she) meant “Make laugh and get rich day”… In that case, it changes everything. I can see how making others laugh can end up filling one’s pockets with dough!

That gives me an idea… I follow a few funny people around here, some using funny to make a living, some just for the fun of it. So if you get a “HA HA HA, I hope you get rich!!” or a “Giggles” out of nowhere in the comments of one of your recent posts, consider me as helping you get the most of “Make laugh and get rich day”! I don’t know how fast the whole thing works, and it might take a little time, seeing how the people in charge are semi-serious (if you can’t even get the title straight, there might be some delays on the money transfers….) But IF you get rich, please be kind enough to remember my participation in your getting-wealthy adventure! I am not greedy, a one-way plane ticket to you-know-where would be fair enough for me… Just don’t forget me!

P.S. I want to deeply apologize for the intense use of the words “laugh” “giggle” “money” “wealth” and their derivatives… I am tired and running on a low vocabulary mode tonight… But since it is a matter of “day of the day” day, I couldn’t put my post aside, and work on it tomorrow with my synonyms dictionary!  Sorry!
