I was always scared to raise my hand in the classroom when I knew the answer to a question. Once I did it a few times I didn’t stop and then classmates called me a “know it all” 🙂
That I was fat, ugly and dumb. My birthday present the day I turned 40 was to wake up just not thinking that. When I realized I hadn’t thought it in a few hours, I tried, but alas, I just knew it was a bunch of nonsense and never looking back. Aging has its benefits.
