Interesting answer, Wayne. I am curious… Do you mean that smoking is a red flag to you because you want to live in a smoke-free environment, or that smokers are bad people, in your opinion?
When I first meet someone – I think if they are being unkind about someone else (you know character assassination or sharing a negative opinion of someone), I would be very on my guard with them from then on, always fearing they would at some point do the same thing to me.

i think people are basically good with some bad habits.

Well, if they are carrying a red flag, or any sort of flag actually, I will probably choose to avoid them.

If my dogs don’t like them, I probably shouldn’t like them either. Dogs are a very good judge of character.
