I understand your point, Carol Anne… And I think that social medias are the reflexion of the people who use them. You see both the best and the very worst of what mankind can do.
Like any other tool or platform – it is difficult to make sure that people will use it well, use it to build up, use it to give and share good. So…yes, in many ways it is only as good as the people who use it.
However…I do think there needs to be more accountability and a way to take remove usage for people to deliberately misuse social media.
I have no idea how they do that though. It is such a big monster of an issue now – how on earth do they manage the monster they allowed to grow?

As much as I feel that freedom of speech is important, I think that some people will always try to push the limit as much as they can, just because they can. When it comes to denunciations about alledged crimes, I try not to give credit to people who try to break others, or put them out of business without using the justice system. I do understand that some men and women don’t believe in our authorities anymore, but I don’t think that means they should be allowed to take matters in their own hands.
