I’m the original “Daddy’s Girl”. There were times when we didn’t get on too well, but I take the blame for those. Over the years since he passed away (19 this year) I have come to realize just how remarkable he was. I can recall a lot of instances where he helped others, even strangers, and how he never judged anyone. He was a great dad.
When I was small he would take me to the zoo. I loved to walk around with him looking at all the animals. Then we went home and had frankfurters and sauerkraut for lunch.
