I was invited (well, not personally, but still…) to join the Fandango’s Friday Flashback!
Fandango scrolls back, every Friday, and gives a second chance to a post he had published on the same date, years before. I thought it was a great way to remember some of the stuff I did a while back, and I decided to participate…
So here it is!
Apparently, May 20th is not a very inspiring day of the year for me… In my 6 years of blogging, only one post was fit for the Friday Flashback! Written on May 20th of 2017, here is the micro piece of romantic fiction.
I hope you’ll enjoy it (again), and I wish you’re safe and well, wherever you are…

She sat.
Alone.
Cold.
And sorry.
.
Her words,
her opinions,
her dreams
going unnoticed in the crowd.
.
Sighing by
the window,
she whispered
to the wind…
.
That’s what I loved about him… He saw me.

Can you see me? Can you hear me?
Or do I blend into the crowd?
I fear I’m only human
When humanity’s so loud
But with a forest all around me
I lay beneath the trees
My every breath a word of love
To whisper in the breeze
And rolling on the ocean
I gaze into the deep
And place a message in a bottle
That might find you in your sleep
And then I gaze into the universe
Of which I know not when or where
But transmit to every galaxy
My wish to find you there
