It’s a very different way of life.
I prefer summer living by far. Winter takes so much more effort? How many layers will I need to wear today? I love salad and fruit, but in winter I want warm food, so I end up spending longer in the kitchen.
The dark, the grey, the slippery pavements….I could happily skip autumn and winter and just live with spring and summer.
I kinda agree… But I must say, I enjoy night time, when it is spent indoors. And funny enough, although I wish this pandemic never happened (for numerous reasons), I still liked the fact that we got to go through the winter of 2020 to 2021 without ”having to go out”. But life’s coming back to ”normal” slowly, and sooner than later, I’ll have to dress like an onion again to face the winter’s coldness. Ugh…. 😉
I like night better than day, so long nights and short days don’t bother me at all. (Neither does cold weather.) But my husband suffers from seasonal affective disorder, so he’s not much fun to live with at this time of year.
I feel like you… Although I’m not a big fan of cold weather. But I understand how difficult it can be for your husband. Has he tried light therapy? Many people I know got impressive results out of using these lamps during winter…
He does use a light box, and it helps. I also make him take extra vitamin D. It helps him survive this time of year, but nothing will ever make him like it. 🙂

Oh, winter sucks alright 😉 But I must say, I enjoy the long nights, though. But the cold and snow… Not so much LOL

🙂 I meant to ask you… Since the boarders have re-opened, are you traveling South to Florida this winter?

Oh geez… I did suffer from migraines years ago, but I had no clue cold had an affect on them. I feel for you. All the best for this winter xx
