LOL Everything’s better with bacon, Rob 😉 But seriously, you don’t know the bacon dance? Here’s what it looks like, you’ll understand why I compare it to tantrums 😉
My French roots betrayed me (yet again). I had to Google ”Bah humbug” 😉
I wasn’t meaning to say that it is ”ok” for kids to throw tantrums, but it seems like it’s something they do no matter what we adults think. You have to forgive me if tantrums can be controlled by responsible parents, I have no child of my own (and that shouldn’t change unless something very unexpected happens).
My friend – you are so privileged to speak two languages with such ease. I envy you. I have a son who speaks and writes fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean. A bit of Japanese. Have I told you this? Yet I struggle with fluency in English. How did that happen? Where did he come from? Is this the beginning of a difficult conversation that I should be having with Mrs Richmond?
I actually have no idea where ‘Bah Humbug’ comes from but only remember it from the character of Scrooge, from ‘A Christmas Carol’, with whom I increasingly identify.
I have to admit I have no idea what the bacon dance is!
Tantrums are not good. I think it is understandable that we might feel angry at times, but learning to control it and thinking before we respond to a situation is important.
Although….when I used to go to the supermarket and there was no toilet paper – I admit, I may have been the closest to wanting to throw a tantrum!
Never heard that before! So, are tantrums better with bacon? 😉

Right? I thought it was my sunbathing habits, but it’s really all of the splashing as I swim. 😀

They probably were just looking for a reason to crash your pool-time! Who wouldn’t want to spend the afternoon with you??

No and nothing. Bah humbug.
And by the way, are you implying that it’s OK for kids to throw tantrums?

These things are often unexpected, but apparently they’re fairly sure what causes it now.

First, no. Adults should not throw tantrums. Second, neither should kids. And finally, no one of any age should do the bacon dance.

Agreed on all three accounts 😉 But I still think it is funny to imagine adults throwing a tantrum for a stupid reason 😛
