Well, dad figured out real quick that you don’t walk into your daughters room without knocking when you’ve invited them to both live in the house with you
I went into my older brother’s room, played with his art materials and magnifying glass, took some money he had on his desk….and then when they asked me about it – I lied!!!
But that was one of the most vivid memories I have of my parents reasoning with me and showing me I could choose good or bad.

No…not really. He would still barge in but he would stop after getting in to say “I’m coming in” and then just march in.
It would have been so much easier if we had locks on the doors!
