Same here… With the exception of the call in the middle of the night to tell that someone I love has been sent to the hospital. But that’s pretty rare 😉
I wouldn’t say you’re ”that” weird. I love good surprises, with the exception of surprise birthday parties. I just know when one’s coming because people just start pretending not to remember that my birthday is coming up, and I start stressing about who’ll be there, and I get really anxious, feeling like I’ll be awkward when I get in the room and everybody screams ”Happy Birthday!!!!” LOL
What I hate most is having to pretend to be surprised. Before I got married a bunch of my friends decided to give me a surprise wedding shower, and it could not have been more obvious what they were up to, but I didn’t want to hurt their feelings, so I pretended to be surprised.
LOOOOOOOL I so know the feeling… For my last ”milestone” birthday, my mom had invited some friends from college I still absolutely love but had kind of lost contact with. So me bursting into tears wasn’t fake even if I was well aware of the party planning 😛 But I usually have to pull my ”this is going to win me an Oscar” surprised face 😉
Yes! I love them! 😀

I agree… unless they are bad surprises. But most times, they are not 😉
