I took over the prompt, as an homage to Nortina’s late ”One Minute Fiction” challenge.
What’s the ”One Minute Fiction” challenge about?
Easy. Each week I’ll provide a prompt to inspire you to write a very short story. The idea is to manage to type your whole story in a minute or less. Of course, you can think about it before hitting the keyboard, and you can take all your time to edit it afterwards…
Just make sure to tag your story with #1MinFiction, and create a pingback to my week’s challenge post, so I can easily find it!
So, here is this week’s picture;
Your turn now… Brainstorm time!!
Let’s see what you can come up with…
Hello old friend, so good to see you again. I’ve been away, been depressed, been so very stressed. Today is as new day and opening your case, seeing you there, lifts my spirits beyond compare. I’ll carefully take you to my desk, and we’ll start together a new writing task.

cute old typewriter. the note in French is a bit of a mystery, but that could add to the story. : )

Reminds me of the old Royal my father-in-law left for my wife. This is on the long side – so I broke the rules a little. š
