I LOVE Monty Python, but I didn’t know about that sketch! I’d say that qualifies you to be in the Secret Services… But wait. Do you play cricket? Mouahahahahahaha
This doesn’t surprise me at all, Joy 🙂 You really seem like a trustworthy friend. And I agree, when there is danger for anyone, telling a secret is totally fine. It happened to me once. I had been trying to help a friend who suffered from severe depression at the time. One evening he told me that he was going to put an end to it (not in clear terms, but knowing him, I knew that was what he meant), I told his parents and our common friends, we found him and had him sent to the hospital. He wasn’t really happy with my secret telling back then, but now he is happily married and has two beautiful kids… I bet he feels differently now 😛
Awh! First thanks for your compliment, dear. You seem trustworthy as well!
Sooo glad you intervened for your friend! Thats exactly the kind of secrets I was talking about. I am sure he wasn’t happy with you at first , BUT sometimes we have to do things even when we know the person will be upset with us! Not always easy to do!
I am sure his wife and kids feel thankful to you now as well! ❤
Yep, well apart from telling my other half, oh and my 2 best friends, my mum, my sisters, my aunt, the lady next door and the weird looking fella down the road
Most of the time….sometimes someone has said something to me and I think somewhere my brain decides it is not a big deal, so later it slips. But when I know something us super-sensitive then it is impossible to extract anything out of me.
That’s admirable, Caramel 🙂 But I agree with you, if people don’t want their secrets to be shared with others, they should always make it clear that these confidences are to remain secret 😉
YES! Does that mean I can be in the Secret Service? ( Monty Python sketch had that line about secrets and the secret service. )

As long as I can tell Ken, then yes. If I have to keep a secret from him, I tell my hairdresser. Lol.

Yes, as long as its not a secret that will harm anyone. But I do like to think of myself as a trustworthy person that my friends can confide in.

Depends on who told me originally, if it was something you told me, then of course not :-p

Yes, but don’t ask me what the secret is because if I told you, I’d have to kill you! 😏
