I’ve always gravitated towards people older than I am. That said I got along with people younger than me fairly well too. But even as a child you’d find me playing quietly near the adults as they talked or visited, you’d rarely find me playing with any other children that might be there. My mother used to worry about that.
any age. I can relate and have a wonderful conversation. I may not go roller blading with some (and they ask) but I will go watch them..and I will quite happily read to someone much older, get them whatever they need and just listen to stories of days gone by. My “bestie” is 10 years younger and her hubs is 5 years older than me. We all get along great.
Huuumm…that’s a toughy. In my case, I have to say my comfort level has changed as I’ve gotten older, with one exception. I’m a sucker for babies and small kids – always have been. But, I’ve also had a change of attitude towards older people as in nursing home residents. When I was younger, I felt very uncomfortable around them. I didn’t know how to communicate with them as we obviously had no common ground, or so I thought. When my mother-in-law went into a home, that began to change. Now, after she was in two nursing homes and my mom was in three, I have a greater appreciation for the residents.
Now that I am the same age as old people, I will probably have another epiphany one of these days. 🤣
Any age. The people at the barn are all younger than me and some by as much as 30 years. I enjoy all of them and get on well with them. When I was younger I had many friends who were 10, 20 or even 30 years older than me and I got on well with them too. Now I do not know too many people who are much older than me
Slightly older or slightly younger. Not too big an age difference as them it becomes an age gap

I am comfortable around most people, of all ages, but I tend to gravitate more towards people who are slightly older.

For some odd reason, I’m comfortable with people much older than me.

At my age, people who are older than me are dead. So, by default, my answer is younger, but not a whole lot younger.
