Not stupid, just not familiar. Alka Seltzer is basically seltzer bromide. It’s an antiacid. It’s one of the only ones I can take too that doesn’t make me throw up. When C-19 hit it was one of the casulties. Now I kinda hoard it. 😶
Oh my… You just gave me a ride down Memory Lane, Anne! I must say, I don’t even remember the taste of Ovaltine, but I think I’ll order some, now 😛 Mom used to make some for my brother and I, and I loved it.
Yup, we have a stash of something equivalent to Pepcid AC at home. Chéri’s medicine cause occasional acid reflux too, and I wouldn’t want him to have to suffer them just because I didn’t keep our stock up 😛
