Cyranny’s quickie!

What has 2020 taught you, about yourself?

P.S. Sorry for the late posting… I got in a (major) fight with my keyboard today. Things are (almost) settled now, so everything should be back to normal. *Fingers crossed*

    1. I totally agree on both points. We did see people’s true colors through the worst of the pandemic… And we all discovered that we could stand things we never thought we could. Hopefully, 2021 will bring us something close to what we once considered normality 🙂 Best wishes for the new year 🙂 xx

  1. I will think of a serious answer but this quote popped in my head!
“I always thought the reason that my house wasn’t clean was because I didn’t have enough time. Lockdown has taught me that wasn’t the reason!” 😂

  2. I commented on the one about getting rid of laws so everyone could do as they pleased, in another post. I’ll shorten my answer here: Hhheeelll NO!! Humans are bad enough with laws, let alone not having any at all.

My second choice is about wanting to see more from a particular writer. My guy is “”. He writes humor in a fashion similar to Patrick McManus who wrote for “Field and Stream ” magazine. His stories centered around his youthful desire to be a mountain man under the tutelage of his somewhat “gamey” neighbor Retch Sweeney.

I encouraged him to compile his stories into a book…hope he does.

  3. I learned I have an extremely low threshold for idiots. I generally ignore idiots. I can hear the stupidity and usually walk away…but this year was a bit much and I began talking back at the morons. Yes, I was rude, uncouth, and highly sarcastic…and I LOVED it. I am one sick puppy!

  4. My bladder is much stronger than I would have ever guessed.

These long shifts at work donned in PPE mean bathroom breaks are sometimes much less often than ideal. Considering how much water I drink, I think I have done remarbably!
