With the holidays coming, Christmas music and Christmas songs have replaced pretty much every other kind of music in our lives, here in Québec. On the radio, in malls, on tv… And I would be lying if I said I am a big fan.

It’s probably the fact that we get bombed as soon as Halloween is over.

But there is one Christmas song I never get tired of. It is Danish (surprised?), and I discovered it in a scene of the movie Jagten (The Hunt). Et barn er født i Bethlehem (A child was born in Bethlehem) is a classic carol in Denmark, and when it is sung by a choir, it just gives me goosebumps. I hope you’ll enjoy it too!
