I have long harboured ambitions to represent my country at cricket or football and to be a rock star. After mildly (by mildly, I mean ‘very, very ordinary’) promising starts at two of those ambitions and a cringeworthy start at the third it may be, sadly, time to concede defeat on all three.
Just waking up on a daily basis seems a sufficiently high benchmark to set now.
