A shoulder to borrow…

209340

Can I borrow
Your shoulder?
And for a moment
Just linger, just
Rest… Only hoping
For the best! A new
Day, a fresh beginning
Give me a shelter
From the thunder
and lightning… Oh, Love
do me this favor.
Can I please,
Borrow your shoulder?

  1. Lend me your arm
    Let me borrow your calm
    Shelter me during the night
    Lend me your hand
    Help me understand
That what’s wrong, may one day be right
    Touch me again
In the wind and the rain
As the waves wash over our past
Let me mould with your form
    As we weather the storm
As together we cling to the mast
    What was over can start
If you lend me your heart
When again we catch sight of the land
When our ship comes to shore
You will love me once more
And together we’ll sleep on the sand

    1. Awwwww… Sigh, sigh and re-sigh. I’ll never get tired of your wordsmith talents, good Sir πŸ™‚ We should put up a ”He said – She said” poetry collection. I’d love to have a book of that kind to keep on my night stand πŸ˜‰

    1. Thank you Kate πŸ™‚ It’s good to read you!! I’m doing good, still a bit on the tired side, but soon I’ll be starting a new schedule at work. 4 days a week, with all my weekends off. I will have lots more time to take care of myself and my writing… I look forward to it πŸ™‚ How are you doing? πŸ™‚

      1. That’s so nice to read πŸ™‚ I am glad life is good on your side of the world! Btw, I will not impose myself to any of my Australian blogging friends, but I’ll be visiting your country next summer (your summer :P) It’d be a pleasure to meet you if circumstances allow it πŸ™‚ xx

      2. I would so love that Cyranny … unlike pops richmond I actually enjoy meeting up with WP mates but don’t have the funds to travel much. Live in northern NSW but if I get enough notice I can get to sydney or brisbane πŸ™‚
