I aspire to be self-sufficient on a block of land somewhere, probably when the kids are grown up. Preferably, the South of France!Working towards it slowly by doing freelance work.
I do not need anything more. I have a nice house, financial security and a good life. I only aspire to keep my health as good as I can and continue on living!
I am happy to shelve any personal wants that would mean a drastic change in my lifestyle.
I remember walking around beautiful houses years ago and imagining myself in a ballgown. But then it clicked, all these luxuries were amassed on the backs of slaves. For me, I want to live a balanced and modest life. In my case that means shopping for clothes in charity shops, not having a car (don’t need one in London, but I know it’s not an easy choice elsewere in this country) having free fun with friends, but because I am a total bread snob, I do splash out on an expensive loaf of bread each weekend.
All my possessions need to fit into a suitcase so I can move whenever I needed to. I could not enjoy having or owning more while I know there are so many, many many millions who live on not much more than $1 a day. All the extras we have may make life more comfortable, but the cost to others is heart-breaking.
All I want is for this world to have a new ruler, a ruler who cares about all, and does not allow extremes of wealth. Only then will I really feel I can start to enjoy everything without any guilt because of what others don’t have.
I’m aspiring to write a memoir. I plan on officially starting it come Janurary 2020.

I aspire to just be comfortable in life. To be able to have a decent place, be able to live not just get buy or service.
