    1. Mouahahaha, that’s a good question, Beckie! My head is full of silly questions… Sometimes, it is just something that I am thinking about at the moment, but it has happened that I asked Google for a little help πŸ˜›

    1. That’s a good one, Sonofa… And actually, it is a silly story that started it all. A mix of bad memory and excessive curiosity πŸ˜›

About ten years ago, my now ChΓ©ri told me about a Danish band (Mew) he had just seen in a concert. I started listening to their music, and I kept referring to them as the Swedish band. ChΓ©ri corrected me everytime, reminding me they were Danish, and I realized I didn’t know anything about Denmark…

Now I have this weird interest for very small countries. (I am not crazy, Mom got me tested) And when I saw how tiny Denmark was on the map, I started doing a quick scan of what Danes were famous for… I realized that a LOT of familiar things around me were Danish: Lego bricks, Pandora jewels, Bodum coffee makers….

At about the same time, I saw Mads Mikkelsen for the first time in a movie… I totally fell in love with his acting (and him too LOL) and when I found out he was Danish too, I think it just sparked my curiosity even more…

One thing led to another… As I was doing my research, I found out that everything I read about Vikingland spoke to me. I thought the interest would eventually wear off, but after traveling there, I think it just confirmed everything I thought… And I accepted my addiction to everything Danish πŸ˜›

      1. Woah! I think each one of us has some crazy story about something crazy πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

  1. How do you keep up with blogging daily?
I keep going on and off again and again. Any ‘realistic’ tips that can help me get regular?

    1. I think that you partly answered this yourself in your second question… I think it is better to think ”regular” instead of ”daily”. We are all different, and our lives are too, meaning that people don’t have the same amount of free time, or the same inspiration. Trying to ”force” yourself to blog on a daily basis can wear you off very quickly!

What I like to do is have some series, like The Quickies, and the Word of the Day, that make sure I visit my blog everyday. And if I have a story to share, or a new poem in the back of my head, I’ll add the extra post. If my head is empty, I skip a day…

Again, it is not the same for all bloggers, but I found that after a while, it became a routine, to think during the day, about something I could post about in the evening… That’s how I keep regular.

Overall, I think that if you set a reasonable pace for yourself, and keep doing it because you like it, people will know when to expect your posts, and will interact more and more. And I think it is the interaction that becomes the strongest motivation, when you feel less creative πŸ™‚

I hope this will help! xx

      1. While reading the first part of the answer, I was thinking how I’m going to crib about trying out different kinds of weekly series. But then when you said interaction motivates, I realised where the problem lies. It definitely helped. I’m going to give ‘being regular’ another shot.

      2. I think that your “Moments” series would be a nice one to work on… It reminds me a little of my “After Eight Moments” You can just post the picture, or add an anecdote, or a poem, or fiction, depending on how you feel on that day, and how much time you have on your hands πŸ™‚

    1. Definately creamy… And ChΓ©ri is on the crunchy side, LOL so we always have two pots at home πŸ˜› How about you? Are you on my side, or ChΓ©ri’s? πŸ˜‰

    1. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL…. I’d say bring some just in case. But I doubt it will be absolutely necessary πŸ˜› I don’t think you’ll want to let Mr Tips out too much over there, either πŸ˜› Everytime I flew over that part of the world (and I’ve done it a number of times) it was only snow and Ice πŸ˜›
