Sadly, I am a builder, and when it gets to the point where I can’t take it anymore, I have to really watch it to make sure my anger doesn’t just erupt like a volcano.

For most of my life it was a ‘stuff the anger down’ and eventually explode mode of operation, now a days it’s BLAM and get it over with. I have to work on not being angry actually, it’s just a state of being with me. Most things irritate me (which is one big reason why I spend so much time alone). I’m really tired of explaining why I ‘don’t smile more’ and ‘why I’m ”so” angry’. I don’t know really. Just a short fuse these days I guess.

I used to be a lot worse about just popping off or reacting before thinking. I’m still not perfect, of course, but I handle it a bit better now. Age and experience result in picking one’s battles.

I tend to have it build up until I’m a volcano about to burst. I realize this is not healthy, but the alternative is not user friendly. LOL!

It depends on who I am dealing with, monkey, I bury it. Strangers, I let them have it.

It is a very rare emotion for me, but I am definitely of the ‘don’t get mad, get even’ school of thought.

I have learned not to let anger build up and to speak up with the intention of finding a solution to the problem that is making me upset. If I do get angry I can let fly with a real philippic and that is not a good idea.
