No. I (apparently, I’ve never given my own demeanor that much attention) look angry, mean, disgruntled, crabby. Most thoughtful folk give me a wide berth.
I think so. I have manners, so that certainly helps. Catch me on the wrong day, though, and all bets are off. The older I get, the less I give a shit if Iβm liked or not, so thereβs that too. π
I agree that aging has an effect on how much we care about making a good first impression. I know I get more and more selective about who I make an effort for π
I have no doubt about that… If half of your good nature shows on your face when you meet new people, I can only imagine you make a great first impression on people π As long as they don’t have anything to do with The Troll π Mouahahahaha
It’s a 50-50 kinda think with me. If it’s a professional environment I’d give a good impression. But when it comes to making friends out there, I’m quite shy. So many people find that I am an overly extrovert person.
Same here, funny, wouldn’t you say? Making more efforts to look like a good person for a boss, when friends are so much more important π Then again, friends should take us as we are… Maybe that’s part of the reason π Also, friends don’t pay bills!
Shyness is a big obstacle… And that’s too bad, because you are one sweet person! I hope most people go past that maybe not so good first impression π xx
I have to say ,in all honesty, that what sort of first impression I give is not something that has ever given me pause to think about it. So either I have gone through life giving an ok one or not….I don’t know.
If you never needed to think about it, I am guessing that you are giving a good first impression. Because you’d probably have wondered why people weren’t naturally friendly with you, in the past, if you weren’t π

π As I grow older, I am less and less worried about it too. But I must admit there are still exceptions…

As hard as I try, I don’t think I’m good at giving first impressions. I think it’s mainly due to my childish looks and shyness.

If only first impressions is not based on looks, then I think I’d do fine. *sigh*

It kinda depends, in a work environment I come across as very professional, well turned out and polite.
Social, then I am my sarcastic, blunt usual self

For the most part yes…but like everyone else, I have my moments – catch me when I am tired out and I don’t think I make much sense at all!
