I watch the flame dancing…
It is like staring at a mirror. The same fragile twirls, the same burning desire. To keep going on, for another day.
I know the next few weeks will be hard. I dread the milestone coming. The holiday season should be a happy one, but I have one too many bad memories linked into it.
I watch the flame dancing…
Hoping for the best. Hoping for a sign.
Hoping.
I still beleive. Thank God.
Life is just too short to be sad, Cyranny. I too have memories of too many losses and I have a husband who dreads Christmas because he came back from Nam and some of his buddies did not. This year I am determined (again) to enjoy the Holiday Season. Hang in there. BIG (((HUGS)))!!! 💞💞💞

Thank you Amy 🙂 You are absolutely right, and sometimes, late at night, the bad memories temporarely overcome the good ones… Starting the new day on a good note 🙂 May it be the first of many to come! *Big hugs back* xx

Exactly. Late at night, can’t sleep is the worst. Darkness surrounding your mind. And of course your working evenings doesn’t help when you arrive home in darkness. That’s why I love the sun. It’s easier to remain positive. Write when you can, I’d love to hear from you. ❤️

I agree… Although I love the night for its stillness, it does tend to make dark thoughts crawl out more easily.
Luckily, the overtime is almost over now… One of our coworkers is supposed to be back at the office in a couple of days, meaning more days off for us. That’ll give me the time to catch back on emails 🙂 And decorate the Christmas tree, and much more too. It should do me a lot of good.
*Fingers crossed*
