This is not a particularly pretty picture, but it is a good sum up of my day. In the kitchen, cooking all day long. I feel good in the kitchen, but I didn’t have time to really enjoy it the past weeks, maybe even months.

I canned my (fabulous, LOL) spaghetti sauce, made cheese cake, a first for me. I pitted cherries to make a beautiful coulis, prepared all kinds of vegetables and cheese to nibble on… I prepared egg, chicken and ham salad sandwiches. Nothing fancy, but it felt good to get everything ready, so we can just enjoy ourselves this weekend.
