.
Good evening Lovelies,
Thank you so much for your warm welcome back response, especially after such a long hiatus!
I’m still a bit rusty, blogging-wise, but hey! I WILL figure out my comfortable pace sooner than later. One thing that really made me laugh when I read the messages you sent me after my last couple of posts.
Cheryl… My dear dear dear Bag Lady… (if you don’t know Cheryl, do your homework, the woman is a legend!) When you asked if my (alleged) serial killer neighbours were still doing their ”thing”. Mouhahahahahhahhaha! I opened The Cove in 2015 (geeeeeeez, 10 years ago), and I started talking about them soon after the great opening.
And they are still disposing of wayyyyyy too much trash as you can tell on the above picture (take note that that’s for a two apartments building). I don’t know how I’ve managed to monitor the garbage disposing without getting killed myself. I would be tempted to say I am so very stealthy, but I think I’ve just been lucky,
So far.
I’ll keep you posted, since at least one person is still interrested in knowing what’s going on with that.
On a totally different note, I’d like to talk about a today’s episode I think is worth a mention…. I have a relatively new friend who apparently thinks friendship is a hard thing to build. Today, we walked home together after work, and I was expecting him to run when we’d get to the crossway where our roads were supposed to part.
But this afternoon, we stayed for at least half an hour on the corner of the street. Just chatting about all and everything (mostly job stuff, but still). And that made me really happy. S, I hope our chats mean as much to you as they do to me . I know you have an eye on The Cove, and I am flattered.
I just wanted you to know it.
And now you know that I am hoping not to get killed by my (alleged) serial killers neighbours.

Now the remember those neighbors too.

Another good memory I don’t know what year, was the hug a firefighter. My oldest grandson is 31 now, can you believe it? And is still firefighting and since I broke my keg in March24 and December 6 the other one, his buddies came to take me to the hospital. I don’t know what you went through, but my last year and half had not been fun city🙄. Let’s just go with we’re both survivors…but I would keep an eye out on that pile of trash…
love you, old friend
ps, did you see the news about Europe supporting Ukraine?👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I wrote quite a long comment, and it wouldn’t download. This happened the last time I tried to write you. I think there’s something up with my iPad. I’m not sure. I was going to say thank you for the referral and I do think you should keep an eye on those garbage bags :-). This last year and a half has been a pain in the butt and I assume with your absence, yours too. All I can say is I keep working at it trying new poetry forms and sometimes I write a good story, rare, but take what I can get out of this tired old brain😀. So happy you are back. I remind you of the hug a firefighter posts and tell you that my oldest grandson who inspired it is now 31! Unbelievable☺️ ❤️

I remember your neighbors. My former neighbor used to have a lot of garbage as well. In fact, he had to borrow my trash can several times during his stay in the house next door. He had at least 8 people living in the house and no one cooked. It was all take-out pizza boxes. I wonder if that’s what’s happening here with your neighbor.
