Yes! And I would hope that they would tell me too. At work there is the nose and teeth check. If one has something in their nose tell them. Lipstick on teeth. Something caught between the teeth. Tell them. No one wants to walk around like that and most everyone is thankful when you mention it. 🙂
My NHS experience makes me pretty sharp with this situation. I would do it discreetly, and suggest identifying the cause and treating it would be a good idea. I have developed a poker face when talking about any health related subject.
Depends on how close the friend is, but if I had any breath mints, I would take one and offer to share.
