We have to choose just one? I love ’em all. But topping the list is the violet (not that I have any up here), but I did have a nice bed of them at my old house. Such dear little flowers!
Violets are (and always have been) my favorites, but snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils, tulips, and lilies of the valley are right up there too. None of them last for very long, but I enjoy them while I can.
That’s so true. I have some giant lily of the valley growing in my yard. They last a bit longer than their smaller cousins. In fact, despite massive wind storms, they’ve really thrived this year and there are a few still growing! 🙂

So many to pick from – but I have to admit, wisteria season is just sensational in this area.

The first ones I see, but Azaleas in April are very special.

Lilacs. Do they count? Or are they a tree?
