July 4th (aka Independence Day). We usually celebrate it with a backyard family cookout, which we couldn’t do last year because of COVID, but which we a planning for this year. We also typically go to a local fireworks display on the night of July 4th, but this year, due to the drought, all fireworks displays in and around our town have been canceled.
