Not really. Success and achievement are accomplished by the inner drive and focus of the individual. I think that some places in the world offer better or more opportunities though. What is made of the opportunity again depends on the individual.
The downfall of success is that it is measured and graded on a quantitative, vocational, financial, and often competitive or comparative basis in modern parlance.
(I forgot to mention in my previous comment that I had my first book published AND got married within a weeks time.)
More of a function of your family and social group than geography imo. If you’re with people who value material success, they’ll judge you on that. If you’re with creative types, not so much!

No. For an example, my grandson who graduated SCL on Friday here in Cheyenne. Success is determined by you, not your surroundings.

I’ve never really equated success with anything more than being happy. That leads to gratitude. That’s success.
