There are definitely some pros and cons. The cons being a lot of the dialects out there would be extinct. My mom and I speak an almost extinct Chinese dialect that not a lot of people understand. So if the world’s languages are unified, well, there goes that.
Yes I do – however there would likely be a war on what it should be.

Yes. It’s sometimes hard enough to understand what someone is saying when they speak your own language, much less when they speak a different one.

No. Remember the town of Babble? But I do think if you move to another country, you should learn the main language there.

I don’t think so. Esperanto exists but has never taken off in a big way. People want their own languages just like they want their own currencies.
