I’m not a big fan of rap and can only take so much – very little in fact – of bluegrass. Rap isn’t music to me. I don’t understand the words most of the time; when I can it’s potty talk/trash. Bluegrass gets to be monotonous.
Bluegrass done properly is very relaxing but I can see where it might get old pretty quickly as a lot of the melodies are similar and pickin’ on guitar or banjo ain’t for everyone. 😉 Now I fully agree with you on rap. It’s garbage.
Any sort of operatic tune especially Chinese opera. My mom’s been listening to those lately and it drives me insane. It sounds like a chicken being slaughtered. It’s awful.
Hip hop or rap. I just do not like the style, it’s mostly only noise to my ears and bad poetry/rhyming drives me batty. I do realize there are those who love that music style, but they were born a couple of decades after I was and after all it’s my ears, so I’m entitled from that respect to listen to something other than filthy lyrics and noise. Uh, I hope that wasn’t too ranty.

Muzak and Rap for sure. Above all else, jingles for products. They’re usually very annoying.
